 Devin Castro is a computer programmer that specializes in user experience. His current interests include a wide array of subjects such as art, poetry, and technology education. He is currently involved in developing the web presence for President Obama's 2009 Recovery Act for Southwest Florida.
Devin Castro has professional expertise in standards-based cross-browser compatible interface programming as well as scalable web application development using open source language and database technology.
Five Things About Me
- I've lived in Fort Myers Florida since 2004. I'm originally from Miami which I visit often for friends and family.
- Other than programming, my passion is personal fitness. Running energizes me. I've competed in a few 5k races, one of which I placed second in my age group.
- I'm always on a computer in some way, shape, or form.
- I am the lead programmer and owner of jumpswap.com, a small-group management website.
- I dream of one day owning property somewhere in the United States that maintains a comfortable 70° at least half a year. I would also own property in Southwest Florida for the other 6 months :)
